| yvie burnett sacked from the x factor 2010 as vocal coach Posted: 29 Sep 2010 12:50 PM PDT     X Factor vocal coach Yvie Burnett has been sacked by Simon Cowell, according to reports. The Scottish mum of two learned just a few days ago that she would not be taking part in this year's programme, according to Scotland's Daily Record, who claim Cowell has plans for her stateside. Yvie first appeared on the show 5 years ago, helping out Louis Walsh as he coached Shayne Ward to victory in the second series of the show. A friend said: "It was a massive shock but she's OK now. The pal added: "It's a bitter blow to find out just before this year's contestants are chosen. But Yvie is one of the best vocal coaches in the world. |

'It's a very different feeling being out there on your own. Slowly but surely I'm finding my feet,' she says in her new book Through My Eyes. The 27-year-old is releasing her second solo album, Messy Little Raindrops, next month and as she moves on from her divorce from Ashley Cole, the newly single Cheryl found it the perfect time in her life to release her autobiography too. In her book, which hits shelves on Thursday, she explains her excitement about starting a solo career, away from the security of her Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle. 'It was scary and exciting at the same time, but definitely felt the right thing to do,' she's says in the book, which was serialised in a special issue of Hello! But since leaving her Girls Aloud pals behind for a shot at solo fame, she has developed a new close friendship with 25-year-old Derek Hough. Their highly publicised relationship has never been clarified as to whether they are lovers or just friends but Cheryl has nothing but praise to say about the dancer. |

They're usually seen in only the most beautiful clothes and exquisite shoes - but it was a different story for Twiggy and Dannii Minogue when they were spotted on set of the Marks And Spencer Christmas television advert yesterday. The legendary 1960s model and X Factor judge were caught distinctly off-guard as they waited between scenes with their hair in curlers, and in Dannii's case, sporting a hair net. They were also wearing unflattering but comfy Ugg-style boots and big pink fluffy bathrobes which not only kept them warm - but kept their new festive M&S dresses under wraps and away from prying eyes. It's just the latest in a whirlwind of work for Dannii since she gave birth at the start of July, since which she's thrown herself whole-heartedly into her new role as a working mum. The 38-year-old star made her television comeback when she returned to the X Factor on Sunday, and yesterday, she was spotted on the set of the new Marks And Spencer's Christmas ad. However, Dannii can't bear to be apart from three-month-old baby Ethan for long, so boyfriend Kris Smith brought him along to see his mother in action as she filmed the commercial. |

But the outspoken Sharon Osbourne will make her comeback this weekend – and it seems that she may have undergone a slight facial rejuvenation for her close-up. The 57-year-old's face looked suspiciously plump and her facial expressions noticeably rigid as she joined show judge and close friend Louis Walsh to help him pick his finalists for the ITV talent show. Mrs Osbourne, who claims she has spent £120,000 on plastic surgery in the past - including a face lift, breast surgery and liposuction - will appear on the show on Saturday as she helps Mr Walsh select contestants in the the over-28 category. It is her first appearance on the show since she left in 2008, following a long-running feud with fellow judge Dannii Minogue, who last week laid bare their behind-the-scenes rows. And Louis thought she did such a good job that he has called for her to be reinstated on the show. At Adare Castle in Limerick, where he filmed the slot for this weekend's programme, he said: 'Sharon is a friend of mine, Dannii is an acquaintance. 'I'd love Sharon to come back to the X Factor, absolutely. She's the best judge. What you see is what you get. She's not boring, she's not predictable like the judges on other shows, like those BBC shows for older people.' |
