X factor winner could Christmas No1 slot to silent track lose.

More than 28,000 people have a Facebook crusade to classical composers John Cage's silent piece 4'33 festive chart topper connected.

The campaign is called cage against the machine - a reference to last year's battle for the No1 spot.

Saw that X factor's Joe McElderry beaten by rage against the machine killing in the name of after a similar Web protest.

Fans can purchase the cage track from December 13.

There will be "musicians played", which do not affect their instruments.
