lily allen gets press for dissing xfactor on twitter

Lily Allen uses pr formula for increase in popularity.

A public relations formula that will always get you noticed is as follows:

Take the hottest talked about show (11.1 million viewers tuned in to watch the xfactor season 7 episode 1) and attack it in any way you can. The more vulgar your comments, the more your attack will be remembered. Don't give to much detail, otherwise it will look like you are a closet fan. Attack in general, and attack the creator and judges. For extra exclamation, have fake fans write you questions so you can reply. Lastly, make sure where you do the attack is noticed by the press.

Because twitter is not visual like video blogging (rosie o'donnell) the whole scheme could have been fixed by a public relations specialist (like rob tencer pr) and approved by the client (lily allen) Meaning it wasn't even lily allen tweeting but her flack. Twitter is a pr tool that is highly effective, because it appears genuine and from the celebrity themselves. Often times, the public relations company sets up and manages the account. A social media team is used to continuously keep your name seen and heard all over the Internet. For additional effect, an email is sent to alert the press, when it appears the celebrity went to far, and twitted something they weren't supposed to. A celeb and her pr company can always blame a hacker, for breaking into the twitter account, or the celeb can reveal it was not them that tweeted, but her pr company, and publicly fire them.

The celeb can also use the tweets to fuel an ongoing feud, as long as the entire season, and in the end she can make up with everyone involved. Rob tencer public relations is often asked by public relations college students, who are doing reports about using twitter for pr, and if it still is effective. The answer is yes, twitter is still relevant in the world of real time news and information.

Is it music or is it auto-tune? Tpain and Auto-tune change the xfactor

What is Auto-Tune?

A musician named Tpain made the software famous, called auto-tune. Auto-tune changes your voice and to make your pitch near perfect. The problem is the change it makes is very unique. This unique vocal change the fans of the x factor claim, that producers have introduced into the show in season 7.

Here is a bit of a tutorial about what is auto-tune, and some samples from youtube. Is this just another trick that xfactor producers use to make it easy to decide which singer is best. Are they giving an unfair advantage?

B.O.B explains that you no longer need to hit the notes, thanks to auto-tune.
