x factor judge Cheryl Cole could never make a feminist role model Posted: 17 Dec 2008 08:31 PM CST Its not often I find myself agreeing with the loathsome and reptilian creature that is Germaine Greer. Many of you will know her as a 'talking head' that pops up on the 'Grumpy Old Women' TV show. She is the Australian accent droning feminist anarchic Marxist, that wrote the book 'The Female Eunuch', which was basically a rant against men, seeking to rally other similarly fat ugly females who can’t find husbands to her particular cause. Asked about women in mainstream television she has commented about our nation's current favourite of the month Cheryl Cole. Greer said "Cheryl Cole could never be a good female role model. There isn't enough of her to go round - she's too thin". In my experience, girls (aloud or not) usually like pink bedspreads, talking about boys, Lambrini, make and bake sets and Oeghan quigg. But the thought of Greer who is basically a man in an unflattering 1930s floral pattern dress, and Cole spearheading the cause for greater female emancipation is intriguing. Maybe that's why cheryl  daubed herself with such ugly tattoos in an attempt to defeminise herself. Share This

Weekly gossip magazines have become the new opium of the people. These goss mags which usually adorn the stand in the supermarket next to the unhealthy chocolate and instantly bloating snack products, are last minute purchase tempters for bored, fat housewives who dream of escaping their dreary lives, into the world of celebrity and glamour, instead of their own giro cheque cashing, screaming kids white trash existences.  Needless to say, cheryl tramp stamp cole is a favourite read and heroine for this legion of the social security scrounging undead. turbulent Vogue photo shoot This month she appears in Vogue magazine (UK version, not the prestigious American one) and it was a struggle to get the article in the first place. We've all heard of the 'rider', that is the special term or artist's whim which forms part of their appearance contract. Famous ones include a large bowl of M&Ms with all the brown ones picked out, the whole room decorated in pink flowers, fans being allowed to dress up the changing room for the celeb.  Leona Lewis we understand, has insisted on a rider for tomorrow's Royal Variety Performance in front of HM The Queen. Riders of the storm The LEONA LEWIS rider has stated that alexandra burke is banned from attending the show or entering the dressing rooms or even the entire building! Sources claim that this is because of the rising feud between the two X factor winners and Simon Cowell's moves to dump Leona as his star performer concentrating on Alexandra instead. He said recently he believes Burke to be better and more versatile than Leona Lewis. Next song choice Meanwhile, Burke's creepy ex singer performer boyfriend, who she lured away and wrecked a marriage in the process,  has reputedly raised the asking price for their home made kinky sex tape. HEARTBROKEN Eoghan Quigg will be lonely this Christmas after he was dumped by new love Diana Vickers. The smitten teenager faced a double upset at the weekend after missing out on the X Factor crown to Alexandra Burke, 20 – and being jilted. Blonde, ambitious Diana, 17, has told the Irish schoolboy she wants to concentrate on her career and has no time for romance with anyone.
